Teach and Tear Tapes® provide a fun way to learn a variety of lessons. Teach and Tear Tape® Fraction is 60 yards of learning fun! This tape is perfect for learning fraction equivalents. Just tear, stick and make a “whole”! Tape includes: 1/1, ½, 1/3, ¼, 1/5, 1/6, and 1/8. Tape is repositionable and can be used on desks, tables, white boards, chalkboards, walls, paper and may other surfaces. Designed for children ages 5 and up.

### Uses

Use for learning how to add up fractions and make a “whole”. Early learners can compare actual sizes to all of the fractions by cutting and grouping together under the whole = 1/1 piece.

Arrange the tape on a piece of paper or dry erase board to solve fraction equations by writing in operation symbols and the solution. For example, ¼ + ¼ = ½. Discover how a fraction is a division problem and can be broken down into a decimal.
