Steps

  1. Each student should decorate their puppet to their likeness using Wiggle Eyes, Craft Hair and other decorative accessories. Students can create clothes out of felt sheets if time allows.

  2. Each student should complete the All About Me Worksheet to accompany their puppet.

  3. Once completed, students can present their puppet and worksheet to the class, small groups or with a partner. Encourage students to find similarities and common favorites among each other. Once the presentations are complete, go over the similarities as a class—does anyone share the same birthday or career ambitions? Common favorite foods or animals?

  4. Students can take their puppets home at the end of the day, or the teacher can create a classroom display.
