Learn a simple weaving technique from the video below to create a fun and friendly dinosaur.

Steps

  1. Secure six Artstraws with a rubber band and begin weaving using the above weaving technique, increasing the diameter to 1" for four complete rotations.

  2. To create the neck, decrease the diameter to the narrowest possible width and continue to weave until the neck is approximately 4" long, adding more Artstraws as needed.

  3. Start to increase the diameter gradually until it measures 4" across. Maintain this width for three to four complete rotations before gradually decreasing the width.

  4. Continue to decrease the diameter to the narrowest possible width and continue to weave to create a tail. Finish by gluing the last straws in place and trimming the excess.

  5. To create legs, weave six straws to a 1" diameter and continue until the length of the straws is used up (approximately 2-3/8"). Repeat to create four legs and glue into position on the underside of the body.

  6. Add Wiggle Eyes and any other decorations desired on the dinosaur.
