A fun summer project! Create this unique friendship bracelet for your best friend!

Steps

  1. Choose up to six different colors of string and secure with a knot at one end.
    If you wish to use pre-cut lengths of string, make each piece approximately 4 feet long.

  2. Hold string #2 tightly and loop string #1 around string #2. Pull string #1 to the top to form a knot. Repeat three times.

  3. Loop string #1 around string #3. Pull string #1 to the top to form a knot. Repeat three times.

  4. Loop string #1 around string #4. Pull string #1 to the top to form a knot. Repeat three times.

  5. Loop string #1 around string #5. Pull string #1 to the top to form a knot. Repeat three times.

  6. Loop string #1 around string #6. Pull string #1 to the top to form a knot. Repeat three times.

  7. Once string #1 has been knotted around all other strings, repeat steps 2 through 6 using string #2. Once string #2 has been knotted around all other strings, repeat the entire process with strings #3, #4, #5 and #6. Continue until the desired length is reached.

    When finished, secure with a knot and cut any excess string.
