Project Details

With its massive head, large eyes, and eight distinctive arms this octopus is a hilarious sight.

NOTE: Print out pattern as follows:

  • 74% for 4" x 8" Mini Bags
  • 100% for 6" x 11" Bags

Steps

  1. Cut out the Pieces: Following the pattern (Octopus_pattern.pdf -See NOTE above) cut the pieces from Tru-Ray® Construction Paper. Also, cut a curved piece for the mouth and use the 1/4" hole punch to cut several dots of different colors to decorate the tie.

  2. Assemble your Octopus: Open bag and fill 1/3 full with shredded or crumpled paper. Gather the bag and secure with a rubber band.

  3. Cut the bottom into eight separate strips for the arms. Crumple and twist each one to shape it.

  4. Glue on the remaining pieces of your octopus. Let dry.
